Denomination: Malvasia ABV: 9% Malvasia has consolidated its position both as an excellent dessert wine and as a wonderful sipping wine. It is a traditional Sardinian symbol of hospitality and friendship, reserved for special occasions and special people. The Malvasia grape is used to make Malvasia di Cagliari and Malvasia di Bosa, which are named after the areas where the grapes are grown.   The traditional production of Malvasia di Bosa is characterised by ageing in small barrels containing ´flor´ yeasts. This feature endows the wine with warm, luminous, golden-yellow tones and intense, refined notes of ripe fruit, honey and toasted almonds. The palate is velvety, long-lasting and very well-balanced. Malvasia di Cagliari (only the riserva version of which is aged in barrels) presents a pale golden colour and is imbued with a polished, fresh, floral and fruity bouquet.
