PAPASSINOS TYPICAL SARDINIAN SWEETS This delicacy was traditionally prepared in the autumn to celebrate All Saints´ Day on November 1. It is made of pastry and filled with dried fruit; walnuts and raisins are incorporated into the dough and used as surface decoration. This is a refined variant of the regular papassinos, complete with aniseed-flavour icing. Ingredients:00 flour, sugar, lard, fresh eggs, sultanas, walnuts, vegetable margarine, honey, lemon flavouring, chemical yeast. Icing: Sugar, egg whites, aniseed flavouring.
